The New Year Irish National Race Sprint

Pallas Karting Rally Car Sprint Motorsport Ireland Track Day

The New Year Irish National Race Sprint run by the Rallysport Association at Pallas Karting, Tynagh, Lough, Co. Galway, Ireland - 30th December 2017.

The first RSA 'N Plate' Irish National Rallysprint is only around the corner at Pallas Motorsport Centre this Saturday the 30th December and we have a superb entry mix in all classes. The latest version of the entry list is available here.

The gates at the venue will be open from 7am for a 9.30am start time due to light restrictions and we plan to complete at least 6 stage runs of which the best five will count towards each competitors score. There will be trophies for the fastest three winners in each class, the 'N Champion' number plate for all Class winners together with Overall Champions Trophies for both Rally Car and Race Buggy Events. The prize giving will take place 15-20 minutes after the last car finishes in the Pallas Reception building.

Live timing will be available throughout the event provided by the superb RSA TAG Heuer Timing team and a full up to date 'state of affairs' will be posted at The Reception Building after each stage closes.

Parking

Parking will be limited at this venue as we really do not have a lot of use of the grass areas in wintertime however Pallas Motorsport have invested considerably in 'new parking ground' to facilitate this and future events for us. It is advised to try and arrive at the circuit as early as possible to get the best possible service place option.

Scrutiny

Scrutiny will be available from 7.30 in parc ferme in front of the Reception building so to achieve our plan of an early efficient start to this event we ask you to present your car and race wear to our scrutineers as early as possible. We may take the option of scrutineering the Race Buggies at their service area as a more efficient option to avoid undue noise and movement issues so Race Buggy competitors please make yourselves familiar with our final plan with our paddock attendants and scrutiny team on arrival to the venue.

The drivers briefing will take place at the Reception Building from 9.30am so it is advised to listen out to all of the PA announcements from 9.00am.

Please ensure that ALL competitors including 'casual' navigators have the correct racewear to use, ie helmets and race suits as they MUST be worn at all times when in competition with the RSA.

Entries

Remember only the entries received for 'The Irish National' before the Wednesday evening of the 27th December have/will qualify for the Free Entry Draw on the morning of the events worth £90/100 so if you were not in you cannot win!

SAFETY INFORMATION.

We wish to remind ALL competitors of the need to comply with our standards in relation to safety race wear which can be found in our website under general regulations.
